DR. AURELIAN STEFAN
He is a strong advocate of sterilization surgery as the primary tool of population control. He graduated from Bucharest Vet School in 2004.
With his brother, Dr. Stefan Petrisor, he founded and developed Veterinary Training Camp’’ in 2013 to help fellow veterinarians and vet students interested in minor animal surgery. He was invited to speak, train, and participate in international conferences and seminars about population control through high-volume/high-quality sterilization campaigns.
He is the veterinary director of Romania Animal Rescue, a California-based animal charity and strategic partner of Veterinary Training Camp. With Romania Animal Rescue, more than 120.000 dogs and cats have been spayed and neutered since 2006. During the year, he has developed and advocated for surgical techniques that reduce pain and recovery period after the sterilization surgery.
